We Study the Principles of Self-Education

We all want to learn something new and acquire skills that will help us to be more effective in both life and work. However, not many people have completed their Self-Education from start to finish. I agree; for example, learning a foreign language or playing the guitar for a long time is difficult. This requires strength, time, and patience.

However, the game is worth the candles. The ability to learn difficult things quickly and effectively is a super skill. Furthermore, strangely, it can be mastered. However, it is important to take the right steps.

Step 1. Do a Research

First, research the field you want to develop. This requires the following:

  •  Decide how deep you want to dig into this topic and what resources to use.
  •  Find a good example of someone who has succeeded in this problem and understand in what areas of life this skill will help you.

Find additional resources and exercises to help you diversify your learning.

Step 2. Schedule the Time

It is best to decide in advance how much time you will spend learning new skills. This allows you to prioritize and prepare for work without disturbing social media or your next TV show.

It is a good idea to plan your training rather than schedule your free time for this lesson. It is this order of life that allows you to form the right habits that lead to real results. It is also useful to set the training period in advance. Having a time frame to acquire the skill makes it much easier to motivate you to complete your plan.

Step 3. Execute the Plan

Start implementing the plan. Participate in the learning process and make changes if you feel that there is no progress. To do this, it is advisable to check each time with nine universal principles of intensive self-study. These principles are as follows:

  • Acquisition of metal. Qualitative research on interesting topics and learn how to use your old skills to make it easier to learn new ones.
  • Concentration. Develop concentration. You can focus on your studies and just look at your schedule for busy hours.
  • Decision. If you want to do it well, do it. Do not replace this article with any other task. Other tasks are easier or more convenient.
  • Exercise. Use various training options to eliminate weaknesses. Divide the complex into smaller pieces, study them separately, and then combine them.
  • Anchoring. Do a self-test and test yourself on the subject until you feel confident. Look at the source and try to get information actively rather than passively.
  • Feedback. Have an expert evaluate your skills. This will help you proceed with development.
  • Memorize. Learn to memorize information and improve your skills. To do this, use interval exercises and various game exercises.
  • Intuition. Develop Intuition: Write an article about a new skill or share it with your friends and colleagues. This will help you better understand and absorb the knowledge you have acquired.
  • Experimentation. Leave your comfort zone and look for new methods and approaches in your development and experiment.

Step 4. Analyze the Results

At the end of the planned training period, analyze what was successful and what was inaccessible. This not only helps you learn new skills but also helps you improve your self-study.

Step 5. Maintain or Improve New Skills

The main thing is to decide where to apply the skills you have acquired. Unfortunately, without an application, it is easy to forget. Therefore, you can start using it gradually, or you can find an application in your life, whether the regular minimal practice is enough (for example, communicating with foreigners to maintain the language, education or Writing scripts in programming languages for educational purposes Work tasks).

These steps and principles of self-study have provided the basis for scientific evidence. Moreover, those who are self-taught and successful have one thing in common. It is the ability to take responsibility for learning, make decisions about the format and content of the study, make plans, and recognize what is needed. In short, self-study success does not depend primarily on you and your ability to try new things and find effective teaching methods for yourself, rather than relying on instructions or principles.

Good luck and a flexible approach to learning!
